Grasshopper Vaporizer Review

One of the biggest selling points of vaporizers is the ability to choose a design that fits your own personal style. When it comes a Vape Pens, you are pretty much limited to a color or size combination in that regard, but what if you could get one that offered the ultimate in discretion while still being totally sleek and portable? That is what the new Grasshopper vape pen offers, as you would be let off the hook for believing that it was a pen and not a vaporizer at first glance. The Grasshopper looks like a pen, is shaped like a pen, and even comes equipped with that little clip that lets you hook it onto your pocket, just like a pen. This device takes the pen name and runs with it, but does it deliver the goods in terms of performance. Let’s take a look.

Getting to know the Grasshopper

Portability – We hate to keep going on about the comparisons to an actual pen, but it’s the best way to describe this unit. The Grasshopper has roughly the same dimensions as a ballpoint pen, and weighs in at just 56 or 65 grams, depending on whether you go with stainless steel or titanium. This is a very portable unit.

Ease of Use – The Grasshopper is easy to use right out of the box, as it takes a quick click of the fire button at the top of the device to get things rolling. A small row of LED lights around the middle of the unit let you know when it’s ready to go.

Power Source – Each unit comes with a pair of rechargeable batteries, and changing them out is a breeze. Simply unscrew the top to get to the battery housing, and change them out. You will be all done in a matter of seconds.

Prep Time – This is where the Grasshopper really excels, as it is ready to go almost immediately. It is in fact so fast that you may not believe it’s ready the first time you use it. The longest part of prep time will be grinding your materials.

Temperature Settings – Temperature settings are controlled by turning a dial at the top of the unit. There are a few notches that indicate a 20-degree Celsius change in temperature between each one. A little tricky to master right off the bat.

Vapor Quality – If you use a fine grind with your materials and keep the temperature relatively low, you are going to get bigger clouds. Vapor quality is good from start to finish of each session.

Pricing – You are looking at anywhere from $175 to $225 for this unit, which is on the higher end of the vape pen scale, but worth the price in our opinion.

Guarantee – One of the main reasons why the Grasshopper is worth the price is because it comes with a lifetime guarantee, which is not something you see very often.
