CBD, the compound found within the Cannabis plant has had positive growing attention throughout the United States along with many other countries. The legal status however varies between states. Recently, CBD has moved from a schedule 1 drug to a schedule 5. We assume over the next few years, recreational use should be legal nationwide. The most common way to consume CBD oil is using a vaporizer, which can be found on Portable Hookahs. Tincture bottles with CBD oil can be found at local shops, commonly vape shops that sell similar products such as eLiquids/eJuice. Even Amazon at this point sells CBD oil, however sellers mask it as "Hemp Oil" so that there are no issues with being shut them down.
As for now, CBD oil is fully legal in Alaska, California, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts, Nevada, Oregon and Washington state. It is common to have people from around the country move to one of these specified states in order to have access to CBD and treat symptoms of many horrific disorders. Majority of states only allow CBD for medicinal purposes with a valid prescription. States with this law include Arizona, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, and West Virginia. The most interesting part is that some of these states have legalized the recreational use or Marijuana with no need for a prescription. This forces people without a prescription who need CBD to buy and consume the actual Cannabis bud with THC.
17 states at the moment have legalized the use of CBD oil for medical purposes but with restrictions determining which type of CBD oils are legal. These states include Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virgina, Washington State and Wyoming. CBD oil in these states mandate a maximum level of THC between 0.3% to 8%.
There are four states where CBD oil is completely Illegal. Idaho, Kansas, Nebraska and South Dakota may just be late to the party and will hopefully change their state laws in the near future. It is important to understand the power and benefits of CBD. After enough case studies by legitimate doctors in the future to come, politicians will have no other option than to legalize CBD and allow us to buy it as easy as Tylenol.
